About

Dig It, Build It, Ride It, Race It!

We are a passionate community of volunteers dedicated to the art of trail building and the love of mountain biking. Our organization is driven by a simple, hands-on philosophy: we don’t just ride the trails; we create them. From the initial dig to the final race, we are involved in every step of the process to ensure the best possible experience for riders.

Our Mission

We work in close partnership with the Forestry Commission to develop, maintain, and preserve the mountain bike trails in the Forest of Dean. Our goal is to provide a sustainable, high-quality riding environment that challenges and excites cyclists while respecting the natural beauty of the forest.

What We Do

Our work is physical, collaborative, and rewarding. We organize regular workdays where volunteers come together to:

  • Shape the Land: Using shovels, wheelbarrows, and specialized equipment to carve out new paths and features.
  • Maintain the Trails: Ensuring existing routes are safe, clear, and ready for riders.
  • Build Community: Bringing together people who share a love for the outdoors and two-wheeled adventure.

Join the Movement

Whether you are an experienced trail builder or a rider who just wants to say “thank you” by lending a hand, we welcome you. We believe that the best trails are built by the community, for the community. Join us in keeping the Forest of Dean a premier destination for mountain biking.
